Traveled back to my old stomping grounds over Thanksgiving and decided to take the family out for brunch. I had intended on eating at the Gandy Dancer alas they are closed for lunch on Saturdays. You can never go wrong with the Gandy and hope to submit a review one day. Traveling on Main Street the very same Bob Seger would reminisce about a sign caught our eye. Café Felix? Hmm. I don’t remember that being here and having developed quite easily I might add a taste for French cooking we ventured in.

The menu had decent in size without being overwhelming. The food presentation was perfect and tasted wonderful. Ann Arbor is a college town whose heart is the University of Michigan. Named after the two wives of the land speculators both named Ann was incorporated in the 1820’s. Ann Arbor is made of all walks of life and offers a vast array of food choices. These competative conditions make for impressive menus and restaurants in the area. Cafe Felix competes quite well. Below is a sampling of the items we ordered.

Sadly I did not get a picture of the desert as it was devoured more quickly than I could brandish my camera. Crepes served with Nutella , ice cream and fresh fruit. Yum! Dont believe the hype Nutella is delicious but not nutritious hazel nut wonder spread!

A few images from inside and outside of the building. Make sure afterwards to walk around and check out the many book stores and coffee shops.

That dude would not leave the lobby and I had to get going.

This is a shot of Main Street looking south. That dude still wont leave! Did I mention the town has a lot of starring creeps?

Last but not least a rare shot of camera shy Jim. This one of only a handful of Jim photos ever captured. You are lucky to be seeing it.

In case I forgot. Thank you Jim for gracing my mothers life and for enriching ours. We love you and a welcomed addition to the family. Semper Fi!
